
So for me, the only reason to play in Hard mode, is because you can use the Easter Egg weapons and blueprints. However, in Nightmare mode I don't like that you can't use any "Easter Egg" weapons and blueprints. I don't like that in Hard mode "supplies are more scarce", which means you can no longer buy ammunition, but have to scavenge it from Police vans. There is a difference between the modes in that you earn points faster under Nightmare mode, and you also have a slightly better chance at finding gold level weapons. Under both modes, you run out of stamina more often, night is longer, and survivor sense and the mini-map are more limited. We do encourage original content, however.
